With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, a distinctly “retro” flair, and cushy comfort from wall to wall, River House New Orleans’ third-floor Loft Apartment is situated high over the city, offering privacy as well as spectacular views of downtown New Orleans, the Mississippi River Bridge, and the Faubourg Marigny. Flooded with morning and afternoon light from its four large dormer windows, this suite is so spacious you may want to tango from end to end. Like our other two apartments, this one will take you back in time—but in this case only to the 1930s through 50s.

 

The Loft Apartment is perfect for couples traveling together as the Loft and Gallery Apartments share the double parlor on the second floor, that includes a stunning dining room and living room with a library featuring floor to ceiling shelves lined with books on New Orleans art, history, and culture.
