About

Located in the historic Faubourg Marigny neighborhood in a Creole-style house dating back to the 1850s, River House is part of the very fabric of New Orleans. The boutique guest house features three boho chic apartments that will appeal to travelers who want to live like a local, albeit a well-heeled one. From the living rooms to the bedrooms to the kitchens and bathrooms, art, furniture, books, and even dishes have been meticulously curated to create a bespoke style that is luxurious and comfortable. All guests share the interior courtyard with lush tropical foliage surrounding the dining and pool areas, so intoxicating that it can make it hard to escape this hideaway. When you are ready to venture out, everything that makes New Orleans so beguiling — live music, world-class restaurants, and the French Quarter — are just minutes away.

Location

The discreet location on a leafy street in the Faubourg Marigny is ideal for those seeking privacy, but equally appealing to those who want to soak up the city.

•  Two blocks from Frenchmen Street, where on any given night you will find brass bands, jazz quartets and blues musicians playing at one of the many clubs lining the street.

•  Within walking distance of some of the Faubourg Marigny’s hip new restaurants (many of which deliver).

•  A mere 5 minutes from the French Market and the antique stores, boutiques, and world-class restaurants of the historic French Quarter.
